Sachiko Ever After

First let me tell you about the legend surrounding a spell from the town of Tenjin.
About 30 years ago from today, there was a school called Heavenly Host Elementary School within this town. A child by the name of Sachiko suddenly went missing, and people began to whisper rumors about her disappearance.

Though she was dead, people said Sachiko still wandered, dressed in vivid red clothing, with pale skin, and long, dirty black hair... They said she could grant any wish of love and friendship.

People have derived a spell called the "Sachiko Ever After" from this legend. I've discovered that apparently, this school did indeed exist and a new school was erected in its place. I plan to investigate the particulars.

It is said that the bonds caused by this charm are unbreakable unto death. It may not be a bad idea to try it before someone changes schools or graduates.

Participants: 2 to 9 people. No more than 10.
Necessary Objects: A Sachiko paper charm (Download here -> *) and scissors to cut it out.

* Be careful with the scissors, avoid injuring yourself.
* Always remember to respect Sachiko's spirit.

#1: Print out the paper charm and carefully use your scissors to cut around the black lines to make the Sachiko proxy doll.

#2: Firmly grasp anywhere onto the paper charm with your friends whom you wish to be bonded with forever.

#3: Take count of the number of people present, then, once you have count, say "Sachiko, we beg of you!" in your head once for each person present. You need not say it aloud.

*Take heed! When you recite this in your mind, make sure you do not repeat yourself, even if you make a mistake!

ABSOLUTELY do not make a mistake in how many times you chant. Sachiko will be extremely upset if you do.

#4: Once you have finished chanting, take firm hold of the charm and rip it. Each person MUST tear off a scrap.

#5: Place it into your student ID holder. Do not lose your paper scrap, treat it with utmost care.

This good luck charm is provided by the repository for spells and all spiritual matters at Naho's Nods to the Netherworld.

I ask everyone to share their experiences with me.

Please write in the comments below, I'll be waiting!

Scratches outside the Corridor

Though they were just some petty ghost stories and seven wonders about a school somewhere, a certain schoolgirl from A Senior High School in the Hyogo Prefecture told me about them today.

"Hello, Ms. Saenoki.
I was surprised to see you suddenly stop writing. I was saddened to see the lack of new material to read; I look forward to your writings. I'd like to contribute a rumor I read on our information board today.
At A Senior High School that I commute to, there is a handrail facing toward the second and third floor restroom. Some boy likes to unabashedly play around on this rail by hanging off of it like a chimpanzee.

Naturally, since the second floor restrooms are the boys', we don't mind much if he wants to play around there, but the problem is that the third floor restrooms are the girls'. But that's just an excuse; the truth is that this restroom also has a history. It's a super hush-hush matter due to an event that has made it off-limits ever since I enrolled two years ago.

Why, you ask? ...I'll tell you.
Outside the third floor corridor’s handrailing, on the side of the main building, lies three or four long, thin marks scratching downward. The story is that a girl was depressed and contemplating suicide when she climbed over the handrail on a certain rainy day.

If she took even one step forward, she'd die.
If she didn't immediately die from the impact, then she'd be a bloodied mess from the resulting mass of broken bones and internal hemorrhaging that would doubtlessly finish her off. The girl got scared from the possibility of a painful death and decided that she didn't want to die. She started to climb back over the handrail when she heard a loud SLAM! from inside the restroom stalls that should have been empty. Still on the other side of the railing, she tried to look toward the entrance to the toilets, and...

RUSTLE, RUSTLE, RUSTLE! Out of nowhere, an old woman came rushing at her on all fours! The old woman's face was suddenly right in front of hers! Naturally, she jumped back from fright and fell to her death from a standing position, her leg bone tearing straight through her torso when she landed. Who knows for how many hours she languished beneath the rain, bleeding out. Those scratches on the wall were made by that girl's fingernails.

If you look closely, you can still find those nail marks even today, thus those bathroom stalls are strictly prohibited. I doubt they even let cleaners go in there, especially since no one is allowed to use it.”

...And this is why it's still important to have a clean restroom!
I may decide to check this one out during my next holiday break, though these types of monsters aren't my usual cup of tea lol.

Delicious Apple Tea

I found a specialty shop that serves very delicious tea.
My friend, Sayaka, frequently visits there after her recording sessions. It’s a small shop in Kichijoji with very few employees, so it’d be troublesome if they suddenly got swamped with customers.
As such, I must sadly keep this place a secret. I hope you all can find it in your hearts to forgive me lol.

Urgent Survey

I have received an emergency S.O.S. request from a schoolgirl regarding the previous article’s report of a murder at T Senior High School in the Kanagawa Prefecture and am leaving for the scene.

Never venture into crime scenes such as these because they can be very dangerous! Merely stepping foot on the site can be akin to desecration, murder site or not.
